In 2001 I produced the first ever ‘guide’ to making the best use of e-work. This was called
‘Optimising e-work’, and it became highly regarded as a reference for new developers. I have since
been working on an updated version that is aimed at Version 7.5, rather than the Version 5 that
publication addressed. This will be published in the near future
This chapter is a subset of that future publication.
As such it has some features that may seem redundant in this version. There are still a number of
very relevant items, and I have added additional items that are new to Version 6 and 7.
